RepoAI is a directory of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and, over time, other AI ecosystem tools. This page describes exactly what data we collect on this site and what we do with it — nothing more than what's listed here.
What we collect
The only personal data we collect is the email address you give us if you subscribe to the newsletter. We store it along with where you signed up (e.g. the homepage), and use it solely to send the newsletter described on that page — new MCPs, security notes, and ecosystem updates.
What we don't collect
We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, we don't set tracking cookies for visitors, and there's no user account system — browsing, searching, and reading MCP profiles requires no personal data at all.
The security scanner tool
If you use the public repository scanner, the GitHub URL you submit is sent live to GitHub's public API to compute a score — we don't store the URL or the result. We briefly track your IP address in memory to enforce a rate limit (a few scans per minute); that counter is never written to a database and expires automatically.
Third-party services
We use Supabase to host our database (including the newsletter list) and GitHub's public API to read repository data for the MCP servers we list — that's data about the open-source projects, not about you.
Removing your data
Email us and we'll remove your address from the newsletter list. See the contact section on the about page.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
